HOW TO PROPERLY WASH A BED-SPREAD

Washing a bed-sheet properly can sometimes be difficult,Why?

Because the materials can be so difficult to wash thereby making the bedspread look dirty and hard to maintain.

when buying a bedspread,it is important to choose the right fabric so it would always look neat after washing.

To wash a bedspread,you need the following materials:

1. Detergent( avoid detergents that are too harsh,mild ones are preferable)

2. A little bit of bleach

3. Water

Procedure

- In a big round bucket,pour a large quantity of water and put the bedspread into it.

- Add 2 cups of detergent into the water

- Into that same bucket, pour half cap of bleach into the water and allow it to soak for 12hours (this can be done the evening of the previous day). The bleach will not only make the bedspreads maintain a neat color but will help kill germs from it.

- And then first thing the next day, wash the bedspread but do not wash too hard

- After washing, spread under the sun and iron when dry.

Note: A bedspread should not be used more than 2 weeks and this procedure can be used to wash a bed sheet.
